ABOUT ME
Grew up in Walden, New York. After graduating high school, I moved to Boston and attended Northeastern University for five years. I attended school full time while working full time in software development. I graduated this past December with a BS in Computer Science, however, I don't think I typify the usual computer geek.
I love to travel, and don't get enough of it. Originally, my plans were to be living in Belgium right now. Had the job lined up and everything, things just didn't pan out and the timing wasn't quite right. I do not rule out living in Europe in my future.
I work hard and I've been trying to play hard as well. I look forward to the coming warmer weather, as cold/crappy weather makes me tend to stay inside and continue to work on side projects.
PHILOSOPHY
Traveling and living in Europe (although for a short time period) really opened up my eyes to other cultures and perspectives on life. I try to plan and position myself for the long-term future and stability as I get older, but I also try to enjoy the now and realize the future can never be guaranteed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try my best to go to the majority of all the local Boston CS events. I've formed great friendships with the various Boston CSers. I've begun hosting now that my couches have arrived, and so far have had nothing but great experiences with the people I host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I attend the weekly meetups in Boston, and try to get to know the new people who show up every week. I've begun hosting surfers and I look forward to hosting many more.
If you are interested in traveling, please do send me a message. I'm always looking for a travel buddy or buddies. My uncle is a captain for Jet Blue, so sometimes I do have access to free tickets anywhere Jet Blue flies (inquire for more information)
