I'm an outgoing guy who has a deep love of travelling and experiencing new cultures d seeing the local way of life. I've have currently been away from home a great and a half, travelling Asia and spending a year tra hing English in hanoi, Vietnam.

As well as travelling i have an interest in cycling, cooking, reading, music, film, politics, motorbikes and rock climbjng.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find the best way to get to know a country is to meet local people and see their way of life. You can not discover that side of a place through a hotel lobby. This is why I like couch surfing or staying in hostels, a great situation to meet like minded travellers and learn more about each other and the world that other accommodation options do not present these opportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music for going out to dance is house, techno and disco.

At home I will listen to jazz, R&B, rock music, trip hop and anything else I discover.

I enjoy many types of films, from serious dystopian films such as children of men to comedies like Ferris buellers day off to studio ghibli films.

I love modern TV, the quality is incredible now, from Rick and Morty to the newsroom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My girlfriend and I with another couple spent three weeks driving through the Indian Himalaya's on motorbikes, battling terrible roads and snow. And many points we would hit rivers or blocks of snow with no real option to turn back. The comradery and sense of achievement was unparalled.
