About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I definitely believe that hanging out with locals are the best way to experience a city. I love to travel and am always up for a random road trip. It's also a great pleasure to show someone interesting aspects of a city that you may consider mundane.

Music, Movies, and Books
While I wouldn't consider myself a festie, I have been to a few music festivals--Wakarusa, Telluride, and Voodoo to name a few. I enjoy a variety of genres such as trip hop, post-rock, ambient, jam, bluegrass, and folk.
My favorite authors are Haruki Murakami, Neil Gaiman, Cormac McCarthy, George R.R. Martin, and Margaret Atwood.
Some of my favorite directors are Christopher Nolan, Akira Kurosawa, Hayao Miyazaki, Wes Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, and Jean-Luc Goddard.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've excavated Pre-classic Mayan temples in the Yucatan, Cole's Creek Native American shell middens in Florida, and antebellum plantations throughout Louisiana. It's pretty incredible to be the first person to touch something for hundreds--sometimes thousands--of years.
Countries I’ve Visited
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Sweden, Turkey, Virgin Islands, U.S.
