ABOUT ME

Im Matthew, a Singaporean Chinese. Im currently studying as an exchange student at Essec Business School in Paris. I am originally from Singapore Management University. I am studying for a Bachelor of Business Management. I have interests in Current Affairs, Entrepreneurship, Football, Travelling, Public Speaking and Geography!
I am a true blue Singapore having spent all my life there and like all Singaporean men, i have done my 2 years of National Service, which i really enjoyed.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to be a friend to everyone and to not judge people at face value. People tend to surprise you!
No man is an island. We cant survive without interacting with others, hence its always good to have company, no matter where you are at.

I would like to think that im very knowledgeable about Singapore and the many topics of interest that revolve around our tiny island. Hence, i would be more than happy to share with you more about my country, and hopefully you can learn something from my sharing!

Música, películas y libros

I listen mainly to Pop, Chinese Folk, Christian and instrumental music! I wont say that im a big fan of music, nor do i know a lot about Music!
I used to read a lot, (2 - 3books a month), when i was younger, but nowadays due to the interest of time, i do read less. I always read non-fiction books of varied topics. Only once in a blue moon do i read fiction books :D

Hiked 100km across the Hong Kong hinterland over 4 days.
Giving Christian Gospel tracts in a bus terminal in central Sri Lanka during the height of the civil war.
Been to Disneylands in all 4 countries!
Watched Football in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, France and the United Kingdom.

I enjoy meeting people from foreign countries, from all walks of life and regardless of age, language and religion. i believe that everybody is like an open book and that there is a lot to learn from each other. Through interacting with people from different backgrounds, i will be better able to understand the world that we live in and also learn a thing or two from their lives.
