About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Hodor" - Hodor.
ABOUT ME
I am a open-minded, agnostic libertarian, who likes to drink, eat meat but likes vegetarian food; I like to stay in and amuse myself by using anything technology but it's great to get outside and feel the sun on my skin. I like a good debate, I generally have an opinion but I like to hear the other side of the story. I like to think I am a bit educated and up to date in global history and politics but whether I am or not is another story.
PHILOSOPHY
What a question! I could maybe put this down to a few sentences I guess.
1. Try to not be an asshole.
2. Don't live life in fear of the unknown, be adventurous.
3. There are two sides to every story.
4. I try to not be materialistic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am not sure what this means by 'How I participate'? but I'm happy to host you for a stay, as long as you're tidy and respectful of my property and space. How active you want me in your stay is up to you, I am happy to show you around, just hang out or just let you do your own thing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had no official couchsurfing experience yet but I have had my fair share of couch surfing at my friends houses.
Interests
Food is a great interest of mine as is music. I enjoy mediterranean and vietnamese food the most. In terms of music I tend to listen to soul, blues mostly but I'm not fussy but if you start talking about current pop music my eyes will glaze over.
I enjoy living healthy although I'm not very strict with diet and exercise, I feel I have found a good balance however.
Things I do to fill in my time include: computer games, reading, board games, having drinks with friends, going to markets, watching tv shows and movies.

Music, Movies, and Books
Quentin Tarantino, Mel Brooks and Clint Eastwood are a few of my favourites. Any genre as long as the movie is well executed.
I love music and can listen to most but I cringe at modern pop music more often than not. (Give my spotify playlist a look: http://open.spotify.com/user/1141898878/playlist/0fNzXUcfkEs9XKNlyqsxgw)
I read anything really, depending what I feel like when I'm in the bookstore. Favourite: Zorba the Greek, Nikos Kazantzakis
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed the Camino de Santiago in 2012 which was one of the best months of my life. I met so many interesting people and had a great time every day, even on the bad days. I began my walk alone and finished with large group of people from all around the world, most of who never knew each other before beginning. It's incredible how little you need to live and how generous people can be. Not to mention see Spain from a different point of view, love that place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to help with English. I have very little knowledge of Spanish and Japanese and always happy to learn more. Bring your grandmothers recipe book or show me a few new bands to listen to even.
