About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, to do something awesome every day, to not fall victim to the routine.

ABOUT ME

I come from a small town on Long Island in New York. I left when I was 17 for University and haven't stopped moving around since.

I love traveling and experiencing different things. I will try anything once and probably a second time just to make sure. Except guineau pig. Once was enough.

I am pretty simple and don't require many 'things'. I lived out of my van while traveling around the United States many different times. I am always happiest when living on the road.

PHILOSOPHY

Drink coffee in the morning.

Feeling shitty? A long walk with loud music in your ears cures everything. As does a night out with some good people, live music and a few beers.

The best part about backpacking is not just seeing crazy, interesting or cool things. It is the access you have to people. In the end, that's what it's all about - People. I have close friends all over the globe because of my time spent abroad. It makes the world seem incredibly small.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to share embarassing stories of myself. I love to share information on travels. If you are going some place that I have been, get a pen and paper ready because I will try to give you as much information as I possibly can on the place (Hostels, buses, side trips, people I can put you in contact with).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I absolutely love it. Some of the best people I know are Couchsurfers. It is so nice to roll into a city that you are completely unfamiliar with and to be welcomed into a house or a group of friends at a bar like you are an old friend.

Interests

I love learning new things. I love experiencing different cultures. I love to read and collect books. If I could live under the water, I would. Music festivals, music in general, good conversation and awesome times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving and scuba diving for the first time on the same...I guess that's kinda rare.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play guitar well enough to teach a beginner. I love sharing music and books. My collection can never be too large. Trading and gifting books is a favorite passtime of mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I super easy to host. Down to experience almost anything your city or town has to offer. I love hanging out with my hosts but I am also independent; totally content with solitary wanderings and don't need a chauffeur...so basically, it's up to you. Wanna join? Great! Wanna skip it and chill at home? Great! No pressure.
