ABOUT ME

I like to live in the moment and I'd say I was easy-going, friendly, enthusiastic and positive-minded.

I love music - most notably funk/soul from the seventies. For my dissertation, I studied the first DJ's in clubs from Brooklyn, New York. I used to spin vinyl on my technics 1210s, jumping at the chance to play at friends parties.

Aside from music, I'm also very passionate about coffee and used to work at a number of specialty coffee shops in London. My favourite of which was a place called Association Coffee, very close to the Gherkin in the city. Recommended if you like a good brew! I now am blessed to be a coffee roaster and looking for new opportunities.

Other things I love are; family, discovering new places, seeing friends, live music and forward thinking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I aim to provide a fairly respectable place for people to surf and to be a welcoming host additionally. I intend to widen my perception of the world around me, travel being a major factor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first main couch surfing experience was during my return leg of Bestival to Lincoln. Unfortunately the wind was so bad on the second to last night my tent got destroyed. Luckily for me, a fellow CS'er in Portsmouth put me up for the night after I managed to get a hovercraft there in the morning. Amazing!
