I am a fun-loving South Coaster who enjoys the simple things in life - going for walks, cycling, cooking from scratch etc. I enjoy watching and playing football.

I really enjoy talking to people when I travel as you can learn so much from other people's viewpoints.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend and I are looking to cycle in Northern Spain and Northern France this summer and want to make some new friends and experience the real life in these places, not the inside of hostels/campsites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used the coachsurfing website yet but a few years ago I cycled for 2 weeks across Denmark with two friends and we only paid for accommodation on one night. We stayed with one of my friends family and people he knew/semi-knew and I thought it was the best option when travelling. You learn and experience more of the place you are when you can talk to people you live there everyday!

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch lots of films - I'm currently trying to watch the IMDB "Top 250".

I used to play saxophone in a ska-punk band at school. Really into alternative music and electronic sounds.

Currently reading through "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, while also watching Game of Thrones on TV. Enjoy fantasy, sci-fi genres and "A girl with the dragon tattoo" series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two cycle trips in Europe to Denmark and Southern France.
Seeing a Danish boy (my friend Sean) cycle a fixie bike around the mountains of Provence and the streets of Paris (where he fell off on some oil).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied Mechanical Engineering for 4 years so can share some of that knowledge. I want to learn more about the World from the people who live there's point of view.

I would love to learn and share new recipes with anyone I stay with!
