Hi there! I'm Matt. I am an American-Swiss dancer and performer. I'm pretty new to Couch Surfing, but I'm super excited to make friends and experiences together! I grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia in the USA, where I started dance training at the age of four. As I grew, I realized I wanted to make my love for dance into a career. So, when I finished high school I moved to Philadelphia to start my bachelor studies in dance performance. Of course, university is all about learning more about the world than you knew before, so I pushed to travel and study abroad. I was so excited to study first in Antwerp, Belgium for four months at the Royal Conservatory of Dance, and then a year later in Frankfurt, Germany for five months at the University for Music and Performing Arts. I completed my studies in Philadelphia in June 2016, and now I live and work at a casino in Macau since August 2017. Really enjoying exploring Southeast Asia! I live the nomadic life of a dancer. I am lucky to be able to travel to where the magic happens! Performers need to connect with their community, and that starts with getting to know the individuals that compose a community.

As a dancer and performer, I'm incredibly passionate about the relationship people have with their bodies - in essence, health. I love yoga and pilates, learning about anatomy and nutrition, and sharing ideas and experiences with people I've met. Of course, the amazing thing about humans is that we're all over the planet, so I look forward to traveling around the world to see how health and performance interact.
