I enjoy sailing/boating, hiking, camping, dancing, live music, and adventures.
Currently living in Melrose district of Nashville.
Studied abroad in Rome for the fall semester of 2013.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was a surfer while in Europe and now in the States I host and surf, while meeting up with people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Europe for 6 months.
I have hosted travelers, January 2014-Mid 2015.
Currently, I surf and meet up with people because I am living at home to save money (though hosting is available if needed).

兴趣

High Adventure outdoors, exploring, and trying new foods and drinks (living the way the locals do :) )
I love boating (motor and sailing), hiking and biking, and experience everything to the fullest b/c you never now when you will get to do it again.

Alternative Rock, Country, and anything with beat that you can dance to.
Adventure movies are my favorite, such as Indiana Jones.
I enjoy books that I can relate to in my life. Last book I read was "The making of a navy seal". Currently reading "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sailed across lake Michigan in the Tri-State cup race (Chicago, IL to Saint Joseph, MI)
I have kayaked 2 times totaling 150 miles in Lake Superior - Apostle Islands and Isle Royale.
Hiked the Colorado Rockies and got to the highest point within the Colorado State Park at 12,980 ft = 4 KM.
Hiked Philmont Mountains in New Mexico.
Hitch hiked around Europe
