Hello I'm Matt.. I'm originally from London but currently working in Taunton at the UK Hydrographic Office. My love for traveling has taken me to all 7 continents and I love meeting new people from all over! I enjoy playing guitar, hiking, cycling, kayaking/SUPing, all kinds of music

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Taunton is a town that's really grown on me. It has friendly people, traditional British pubs and is surrounded by beautiful countryside (Dartmoor, Exmoor etc), close to the stunning coastlines of Devon & Cornwall. I'm also passionate about showing people around London - I love the city and all its hidden gems.

I have hosted people in London, Plymouth and Taunton. And I have so far couchsurfed in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Scotland, Germany. I look forward to surfing more in the future.

The UK's 3 Peaks Challenge - climbing the 3 highest mountains of England, Wales & Scotland all within 24 hours - and enjoying a well-deserved scotch whisky at the end
