ABOUT ME

My name is Matthew Paul, I am 25 currently ('90). I am from a town south of Saint Louis and always traveling and playing music. I don't drink very often and try my best to keep a straight head and focused on the world.

PHILOSOPHY

We are here to be happy and enjoy the world. I am very open person who loves hearing stories and hearing about where people have come from. Learning is one of my favorite things outside of music; Whether that be in the academic or life sense.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I love the human element to life. I love meeting people and knowing people from across the country and world. I hope to travel over seas some day but for now I'm still state side.

Interests

I am a singer/songwriter who travels and spends my days writing and performing. I love philosophy and art as well. I've played a lot of places and hope to explore many cities and outlets in this country.

My favorite musical artists are Simon Joyner, Kevin Devine, Bright Eyes, and The Front Bottoms.

My favorite movies are typically comedic or thought provoking. Documentaries are always fascinating to watch as well.

I've read a lot of philosophy and psychology books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I traveled alone for 60 days across the country, sleeping on couches and in my jeep playing music pretty much across the western side of the country - from the Mississippi west.
