About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Studying human ecology, writing, trail maintenance. I'm writing a thesis while living in Chama, NM and working for an environmental non-profit. I'm really passionate about learning about places and cultures. Also, trying to grow as a feminist and anti-racist.

ABOUT ME

I love being outside. I spend free time climbing, hiking, paddling, skiing, reading, writing, napping, and listening to music. I also am pretty into drinking tea and swapping stories. I also am teaching myself guitar; can play a dozen chords or so.

I really like watching and discussing sports, especially basketball.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect yourself and others. And have a good time doing it.

For me, respect has a lot to do with listening. If we hang out, I'll do my best to listen and share in a way that leaves us both feeling like we've learned something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share experiences with people doing amazing things in amazing places, and to try to bring down the Big Hotel industry.

Interests

being outside, naps, activism, live music, climbing, parties, campfires.

I'm passionate about progressive voices in the South -- Drive-By Truckers, the Equal Justice Initiative, etc. If you're south of the Mason-Dixon and trying to move us/our culture forward, I'd love to talk about it!
