About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keep exploring the world at every opportunity.
ABOUT ME
I am a Student studying at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland (Or Uppsala, Sweden, depending). I went to a Waldorf school (yay all waldorfians!) and have lived in Germany, England and South Africa and love travelling, both for the beauty of seeing other places, cultures and people in the world and to remember the beauty of my own. I like to think I am very open-minded, social and, at least sometimes, funny. I think I am pretty inquisitive about the world as well, which is another reason I like travelling. I think stuff like history, geography and languages is pretty useless without real experiences to attach to them; this is why I like meeting local people and experiencing places from the inside, rather than the outside, i.e. couchsurfing.
PHILOSOPHY
Let's talk about it over a beer ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
MY COUCHSURFING
I started couchsurfing quite a while ago with my boyfriend in Madrid, and have always done it since then! I have couchsurfed around Europe and loved it every time. I have also hosted a few people and met Couchsurfers in Edinburgh, which is always worth it! Sadly, my current flat situation is a bit limited, but I hope to be able to host more in the future.

Everything and anything! Politics, culture, art, music, food. Science, philosophy and the world! Having fun and getting to know cultures through their own eyes!

Music, Movies, and Books
Authors: George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, Herman Hesse, John Steinbeck, and recently, Dostoevsky.
I like a lot of music and quite a few films, but that will come up in conversation no doubt.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled from Land's End (the bottom of the UK) to John O'Groats (the top of Scotland) in 10 days. Thats 1600 km (1000 miles). It gave me a new perspective on how beautiful the British isles could be, and taught me all sorts of things about myself.
