About Me

I am a South African medical student that is passionate about learning and experiencing from my travels, and growing through the amazing people that open their doors to the weary traveller. I am very easy-going and committed to a journey to doing all things with consciousness and conviction, revelling in the fact that life really isn't (and shouldn't be) as serious as it is often made out to be!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe, like many others on Couchsurfing, that the best way to experience a country and culture is through its people and their lived experiences. I live in a country which is beautiful in its diversity of people and places but is often divided by this - having worked in hospitals in South Africa has afforded me the opportunity to experience and appreciate the diversity and beauty of human experience within any city or setting. In the same way, I feel that Couchsurfing leaves all no room for preconceptions - only unbounded openness and willingness to share.
