COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Staying in a converted railway coach half way up a mountain in Machynlleth in Wales. Really good experience.

Just watched Walkabout, which I thought was brilliant. Reading Wildwood by Roger Deakin at the moment, and The Grapes of Wrath. Music wise - listening to Lau quite a lot..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Swimming in a lagoon on a little island off the south coast of France, a few years ago.. It was beautiful and blue, I swam out to the middle and looked down and could see right to the bottom. It was great.

Staying in a Blackhouse converted into a hostel in North Uist, in the Hebrides, this Summer. Spent the evening drinking sherry, Morris dancing and telling stories with some excellent people.
