I currently spend a lot of time at a computer doing research but am always looking for the next adventure. I get along with most anybody but really enjoy global thinkers. Schlenkerla Rauchbier is my favorite brew.

I like to bike, canoe, rock climb, orienteer, and other such outdoor things. My research is focused on the interaction between money and politics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In April 2003, I watched an A-10 Thunderbolt crash 300 meters away while I was in Baghdad. The plane was hit by a surface-to-air missile.
