ABOUT ME

I'm a student no longer and work as a piano teacher. I love playing video games, and munching on potato chips.

PHILOSOPHY

A wet man does not fear the rain
A dead man does not feel the pain
If all your time is spent in feign
Then all your life has been in vain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Making new friends and sharing the joys of travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never surfed before, and sleeping in a stranger's home is completely out of my comfort zone. But many of my friends have spoken about what a truly wonderful experience it is to surf on a holiday, and I would love to take a leap of faith and get started.

Interests

I love music. I've been playing the piano for 20 years, and really enjoy musical improvisation and parody. I have an insatiable fascination for different musical cultures and styles. I also teach, and absolutely nothing beats imparting the knowledge of music to another.

I love playing computer games. It is often said that nothing beats meeting people in real life, and although I very much agree, games provides a completely unique and different experience that can be especially fun and wonderfully thought-provoking. My favourite list of games include: Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Minecraft, Rise of the Reds.

Music, Movies, and Books

Victor Borge is my all-time favourite.
I love reading sci-fi, war and military stuffs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watch my house burn down. I was 11 at that time, and the fire started through an electrical fault in my room. I remember waking up to heat painfully intense, and being agonizingly mesmerised by the allure of the flames, before eventually running to call my parents. The memory will always haunt me, as beautiful as it may have been.
