Overview
About Me
22 years old, studying theoretical physics and a lot of math. Usually pretty open for new friends and new people to meet!
I have travelled a bit and I hope after my studies I'll have the chance to travel even more!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was hosted for two months in New Zealand by a wonderful family.
I learnt how wonderful it is to get hosted by someone, and I believe it is the only real chance to understand the place you're visiting.
That is why I'm here. I hope I'll have the chance to be hosted by wonderful people, and hopefully to host some wonderful people too.
Interests
I'm an open minded person, so it is difficult to just list my interests. I can try.
I really love culture, either books or cultural experiences, music, drama and movies. I don't care in what form, I love it.
I'm also into sports. I do a Korean martial art.
I love music, I play the piano, the saxophone, and I can also play the Ukulele.
What else? Oh yes, I love animals, most of all cats. They're the best.
I think there's a lot left, but hey: if you want to know about it let's just meet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music: definitely Queen. I also like other artists, as Jethro Tull.
My favorite movie? This is a tough one. I will say "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Wonderful musical.
I have some doubts on my favorite book too. But I will try to pick one: The Lord Of The Rings. I've actually read a lot of Tolkien's books, but I choose the most famous one. On the other hand I really love Herman Hesse, and Asimov.
Update (three years later):
My musical tastes changed and expanded a lot. Now I am in all kind of music. Presently I am exploring the prog world (both Italian and foreign) and the electronic world (starting from the pioneers as the Kraftwerk arriving to Trentemøller).
Still a "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" super fan!! Don't dream it be it
I have read so much 19th century literature in these years, mostly russian books, and that was just amazing. My favourite book of all the period is probably Crime and Punishment, although the choice is just so hard!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It is quite pretentious to think I've done something really amazing.
It could be Bungee Jumping, or else water skiing. But I don't think so. I really don't know. I'll just say I did many strange things, joyful things, that someone could consider as wonderful.
Update (three years later):
I don't know if the point of this category is what I am about to tell, I just really want to share one of the most incredible experience I had: visiting CERN. I really can't explain anything in a few words. I'll just say that if I had doubts about my future as a Physicist before they are now all gone.
Visit CERN, become a Physicist.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Myself! And all that comes with. Everyone wants to eat Italian food. I can cook. Hope that is enough.
P.s.: yes, I can cook, but I'll warn you German ingredients are not the best you could wish for.
