Overview
About Me
I'm a traveller, and aspiring freelance product designer. I enjoy listening to other's stories and learning what they are passionate about. My passion pertains to the design of ideas that are: human centered, and (viable, feasible, and desirable). I realized during my undergrad that life can be complacent and definitely with an engineering degree can be quite comfortable. But by moving towards complacency, I would be putting a damper on learning and meeting people; forming new relationships with extraordinary people.
I enjoy playing and listening to music and reading a good book (though you don't know what a good book is until you've read it yourself, haha.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At this moment, I'm on couchsurfing to experience foreign cities from the perspective of a local. I think the balance between being a traveller and being empathetic to cultural norms is something that can only be found if time is spent talking to locals. Sharing stories, meals, drinks, and experiencing life, even it is only for a few days or a few months.
I'm also curious in learning what might be right for me. I think living in one country works for some people, but there is a tendency for complacency which I'm trying to avoid as much as possible.
I hope in the future to host couchsurfing for others. As much as I take, I hope to give back more to the couchsurfing community.
