Overview
About Me
My name ist Matthias, but everybody calls me "Koschi".
I am a musician based in Hamburg, I play the guitar and have some bands where I play together with really good friends of mine. Currently I am also studying physics.
I am interested in a lot of things, mostly people and their stories, culture, philosophy, good films, old nintendo games, cooking, baking bread, society, sustainability, physics, mathematics and astronomy, etc...
I am constantly trying to learn how the world really is, if that is possible, and find my place in it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I visit new places I like to get to know people that really live there, because they can tell me some real experiences about the place, give insider tips; and I generally enjoy meeting new people. And even I sometimes need to close the door behind me after a long day,
most of the time it is way nicer to have some time together for talking, eating and drinking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Radiohead, The Beatles, Nirvana and Foo Fighters, for example.
My favourite movies are American Beauty, The Godfather, Clockwork Orange, Star Wars (only IV-VI), Jurassic Park, a lot of Hitchcocks Movies, and many more.
I read mostly books about politics, science and society, the best novel I read was The Corrections from Jonathan Franzen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not really sure, what I am supposed to write here, but I can teach guitar, bass and a little piano,
physics and mathematics;
and I like to learn almost everything, but I am not so good at learning languages.
I can also show you how to bake bread from real sourdough.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences? :-) I also very much like to cook. Also I remember a Simpsons reference to most of the situations.
