Hello, I am Matthias. 19 years old and a student living in Deventer, NL. I recently discovered the student life and I really enjoy it.
I grew up in Drachten, NL in a family of 6. For a few months I have been living in Deventer (in a student housing with two others, after joining the student association called Pro Deo) now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would really like to meet people form around Europe and maybe even the world. The other two students in our house kind off dragged me into this. The main reason I joined was to find a place to sleep when going hiking, but thinking about it, I would like someone to come over if it's possible for us ;) helping and meeting people is amazing, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly listen to pop songs, but classic rock is also to be found on my phone. I mainly watch action movies, and I prefer the ones about wars. Series I watch are for example The 100, Blacklist and some swedish ones.
When reading, it is also mainly action and about wars. I like Lord of the Rings, Hunters' apprentice et cetera, but also some less known war books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just came back from a nine day trip to Israel. Such an amazing experience!
