Hi, I'm Matti, born and live in Germany and want to see the whole world (okay, so much of this world how it´s possible).

I like hiking, sports, meeting people and try something new. Most of my study time I was acting in a small theatre group and learned every single part of theatre basics I need to write, direct, improve, act and control most of the technic you need for a whole play. I love it. The near to the people and the challenge to make living story of a single idea. That´s the reason I end up with mechanical study (now I've got my graduation) and begin to study theatre pedagogy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was searching for a cheap way to stay a couple of days in any places of the world. Good friends told me about this platform and there experiences with nice and interesting people. So I want to try it out and excited what´s going next.

Music, Movies, and Books

That´s quite difficult, because my favourits aren´t the only genres/types or specifications I prefare.
One of my favourite movies is Fight Club from David Fincher (I think most of his movies a really good). But I´m also a fan of Art House Productions, SciFi and Terry Gilliam movies too.
A book, that I wish everybody should have to read this, it is "1984" from George Orwell. It isn´t a good book in the former ways we want to read a interesting novell. Cause it´s a terrifying and actual view of our society, with a rudimentary plot.
And now music. Hard question. I thought for a long time, that my musical taste is a mirror for my kind of person. Nowerdays I like a lot of different kinds of music, excluding most hiphop/rap (sorry, but I try it very often) and know, that´s a part of me. Not more, but not less.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm so interested in other people, that I often forget what´s making me unique.
I think the most amazing thing I've done, is to create a good atmosphere for people who need a deeper trust. A trust in other people and a trust in themselves. That´s the basic for good acting and a lot of fun in this kind of play.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like cooking and can show you typical meals of my region. Also I can teach you some tricks of acting or show you funny games of pedagogy work. Trust me, everyone has potential to become a good actor. I've seeing it every single day in the workshops I conducted.
