I`m Matthias, 34 years from Vienna, Austria ( i have no clue why i got listed as Denven, Colorado. If someone could help me would be really cool :-))
I have worked for 13 years in a big company and i decided to change my life and explore other areas of the world.

To me personally: I would discribe myself having an open minded positive attitude which is topped up with a bit of shyness. I feel very comfortable in a kind surrounding and i like to listen to people. I open up pretty quickly when i feel comfort.
I like sports very much and i`m interested in every kind of it. Right now i`m very much into boulder climbing and i like to invite everybody to join me. Also music is on of my passions and i took singing classes for a year. I`m not a good singer and singing in front of people is a big challenge for me, still i love it anyway. :-)
I got the wonderful opportunity to raise two kids for 4 1/2 years , so i don`t mind an enviroment with kids and i`m happy to spend time with them because i have the tendency to be a bit of a kid myself.
I`m a bad cook but i would like to do Viennese kitchen ( be careful it`s very unhealthy ) and i`m a good cleaner. So if you want to have done your household for a while I´m your guy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I`ve never done this before. In fact i never left Europe since i started this trip and my longest time being away was not more then 3 weeks. (except of 8 months working in Poland)
I start couchsurfing now because i want to live the expirience being with people and adding chapters to my journey that i`m doing right now. Since it is new for me i don`t know how i will feel doing it but i imagine it being very nice having the chance to share time with people who are open minded giving others the chance to spend time with themselves.
Sadly i didn`t try it myself at home before i left.
I spend my time now in New Zealand for more then 2 1/2 months living in a car and in hostels and i would like to try this path of traveling too

Pffff....where should i start :-)
I love music that i just simply feel. This can go from deep emotional tunes like john butler`s oceans, to fun and dancing like daft punk, going crazy to queens of the stone age and the prodigy or chilling out to bob marley.
It depens on the mood too, isn`t it?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was raising to kids for 4 1/2 years.
Right now my journey is a wonderful expirience and challenges me a lot.
I believe that life itself is a wonderful expirience

Did i already mention that i`m a good cleaner. :-)
I had a basic 9 to 5 job in a bank, i don`t know how big the interest is to learn about that.
