I am Matthias 33, from Europe / Austria. I like mountains, sports, people & animals. Normally working as a projectmanager in the field of material science, I now have a year off as i am having a kind of educational leave, which i mostly use for traveling and get some new life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a new experience for me. I really like to get to know the country from a local perspective instead of checking all chapters of a touristic guide. During all my travels I met wonderful people, which i am very grateful for and dont want miss them in my life. And of course, saving money is a further reason to do Couchsurfing.

I really like music and listening to all kind depending on the situation, feelings, time. Nevertheless my favourite is Reagge, HipHop and chilled music.

Supported a cat`s birth.
Unbelievable good gluten free double chocolate brownies.
Travelled through New Zealand with my mountainbike and a van.
Snowboarding in Alaska.
