About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Change the way education works and have fun while at it :)
ABOUT ME
Hi,
I'm Matthias from Frankfurt, a tinkerer and entrepreneur by heart.
I love all kinds sports like slacklining (maybe with you in the English Garden when you visit), fencing, snowboarding, beach volleyball, ...
My big passions are teaching and entrepreneurship, which are combined in my own language learning startup Linguedo.
With Linguedo, we teach languages in a very different and help people from Italy who are unemployed learn German and find a job in Germany - for free.
Random stuff: I hate coffee and love tea, am a real night owl and can't sit still for long :)
PHILOSOPHY
Always leave people better or with more resources than you found them, i.e. bring value into the world and give freely.
I have dedicated myself to give people access to good education which in my opinion is most essential for a good life with lots of opportunities. This includes trying to help fund poor people's education and helping people learn stuff better, easier and with more fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked from my hometown to Paris (700km) when I was 16, stayed there for 3 days and the hitchhiked back. Made the whole journey including food and everything for under 100€, met so many amazing people and had some crazy adventures (like being kicked out of central station in Paris, but meeting a train driver who let us sleep in his train till he had to leave in the morning).
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach you a lot about entrepreneurship and as I am a German teacher professionally, about that too of course :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travel stories, a good conversation ranging from bad jokes to philosophy, advice on business and entrepreneurship, where I'm really good at.
