ABOUT ME

I'd consider myself an introvert, but a sociable one, thus my hobbies include both reading and contemplation, the latter preferrably while riding my bicycle, but also sports (historical european martial arts are challenging, but fun :)) and parties/concerts/pub crawls/etc.
My preferred music would be metal, but I consider myself interested in pretty much any piece of music that somehow resonates with me, regardless of genre.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I haven't yet gotten around to travelling as much as I would like to do, but I am working on fixing that.
I also offer my couch for anyone who'd like to crash in Frankfurt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had good experiences all along with a number of surfers. This brings some new perspectives and experiences to my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I am in love with Metal. Especially the old school and 'ard stuff. This does not keep me from fancying other genres of music, such as some contemporary German Rap or old school US Rap, some Electronica...add in some soundtracks and you get the picture.

Movies: Quite a lot, but I am not too much of a cineast. Generally I like stuff like the old Star Wars trilogy, most Tarantino movies, some older comedies like the Naked Gun series or Hot Shots!

Books:
Predominantly Science Fiction and some Fantasy novels, but also some classic novels and some non-fiction books, mostly physics, philosophy and some psychology.

Teach, Learn, Share

I may safely claim to harbour a decent amount of general knowledge, which I like to share.
There's also some HEMA longsword techniques I can demonstrate (well more or less skillfully :D), but I definitely need to train more regularly.
