About Me
I am an uncomplicated, open-minded and relaxed film geek with more daydreams than dreams. I place value on body hygiene and can sleep through nearly anything.
Try to enjoy each other's company on that small world. Just a smile on the subway or a short conversation in the coffee line can brighten up your day as well as your counterpart's day. It really is not that difficult, people!

Oh, and please DO send me copy-paste messages and/or tell me you just need a cheap accommodation - seriously, none of it should be a big problem guys! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think CS is a huge chance to connect with people from all over the world. And I think it is not just about providing a couch, but also being a host and guide! I am trying to give my guests a good time in Berlin, accompanying them, guiding them through the city or showing them something special. God, I sure hope I haven't raised expectations too high...
So far I have only hosted twice but I really enjoyed it everytime. I went out to concerts with surfers, on pub crawls and through hangovers... or we just spent the whole day strolling through the city, lying in the grass and having a beer in the sun by the river Spree...
Interests
Films mostly, music secondly. But I am also learning to play the guitar (see photo attached) and working on my Polish language skills. And I love to grab a beer in the evening!
Music, Movies, and Books
With films everything. I like independent as well as huge blockbusters, black&white as well as IMAX as long as there is a great story being told. Some favorites are Léon, American Beauty, Collateral, the James Bond films, Die Hard, Indiana Jones, The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Antz...
A lot of music, from soundtracks and scores to Gotye, Kaki King, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Mumford & Sons, Moby or Kings Of Leon.
I am not as much a reader as I would like to be but I am working on it. Favorite books include Live And Let Die, The Film Club, Faust, Ubik and Into The Wild.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I first came to Belgrade I immediately fell in love with it - so I stayed and wrote two travel guide books, on the city and on the country around it. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
