finishing my studies, travelling the world and meeting new people

ABOUT ME

At the moment I'm on exchange in Sweden, otherwise I'm studying in Graz, Austria, and working part time at the University. I have one year to go to finish my studies and afterwards I really want to go abroad again. Travelling is definitely my thing and I love to meet new people, hear their story, have fun and learn from them.
I like reading newspapers (my friends consider it to be at an abnormal level) and opinion articles, as I want to consider myself as a critical and politically mature citizen. Thus I'm interested in politics.
Furthermore I enjoy the nightlife, like beer and especially red wine and smoke a cigarette every now and then.
When I'm travelling I try to get a good relation between cultural activities, nightlife and chilling out.

PHILOSOPHY

Walking on my path, trying to stay on track. Still not sure where it is, though. Being positive, as the opposite doesn't help anybody. Having fun and spending time with friends, enjoying what we have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now as a surfer, because I'm studying abroad in Sweden and don't have a couch here. But as soon as I have a flat back home again, I'll of course provide my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once visited friends, who wanted to stay the first days in a city through couchsurfing, as they worked there. They ended up staying for 3 weeks at that place, having great fun and even having me as visitor. We all made new friends and had an awesome time.

Besides newspapers, I spend my time with my studies, books, tv shows, music, the usual. I enjoy live music and festivals, rarely sports, often nightlife. Actually I think I'm interested in almost everything and I also love to discuss about anything and everything. And as my finances allow, I love travelling and meeting new people.

Currently I'm listening to a lot of indie and alternative music. I also like good old rock, punk and sometimes (indie) electronics (although i have no idea of artists there).
Last books I've read: The Reader, Arm durch Arbeit, Die unerträgliche Leichtigkeit des Seins, Die Verwandlung....

The roadtrip from Kiruna up to the norwegian fjords was stunning. And St. Petersburg was definitely the most amazing city I've ever seen.
