About Me
CURRENT MISSION
This line used to be "Finish my Flight training and then go off to see the world". I have done the first and now my focus shifted a bit to "Enjoy life with the job you have, grow into the important aspects of adulthood and still have as many adventures as possible" :)
ABOUT ME
It's always a bit hard to describe oneself, but I think I'm a rather easy-going person. I can be satisfied with some basic things and it's quite easy to make me happy. Since I wanna find hosts with my profile, I maybe should tell you some more about me: I studied Archeology at the university of Mainz, but started flying a few years ago and rather want to be a professional pilot than to work in the field I study (I reached that task finally!). Besides, I work out a lot and I enjoy the outdoors and cooking (I don't eat meat, but I try not to be didactic about it). I could list some more things here, but don't want to exaggerate, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask :)
I am aware that my profile is not verified. This is solely because I don't want to spend money on a thing whose basic idea was to be different to other travel pages. I hope that my references speak for me and/or that people in doubt of my intentions do contact me, but if not so, I don't know what to do about it either (also, I have never heard complaints from the people I've murdered ;) ).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surprised how often people help me out, but glad to return the favour as well...
Interests
Flying, Cooking, Martial Arts... - since a year I have picked up reading books again. I'm catching up on the world's classics, this goes for movies as well and sometimes I even pick up a guitar. Just everything that "refines" you.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm coming from the Heavy Metal sector but widened my horizon in regard to music. It's too great to be reduced to one style.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending my first Diwali-night with my girlfriend (not in India, though), hitchhiking through the Balkans on my own, reaching the graduate-level in Krav Maga after 7 years of practise and one or two other things I don't want to share with just everybody...
Teach, Learn, Share
Never underestimate german trash-TV (e.g. wife-swap). We should engrave certain episodes in gold plates and send them on satellites to outer space. I will show those to my grandkids. I also have a fine selection of WWF-Matches.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, India, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
