About Me
Hi! I'm an Erasmus student from France coming to Edinburgh this year!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Made this account a few years ago but kind of lost track of it. As it happens, I'm looking to spend a bit of time in Edinburgh and Glasgow before classes start in mid-September, and I've been hearing so much about the festival I can't wait to see it for myself.
The spirit of the community also seems really positive and interesting in general, it gives off a great mood and I can't wait to get the chance to share experiences with new people.
Interests
Traveling, learning about new things and places.
Searching for meaning to life in films, books, and TV series.
Thinking about writing (but never actually writing).
Reading all about how Harry Potter, who prefers to go by Vampyre Potter, is in fact a satanist vampire goth who sleeps in a coffin, eats Count Chocula with blood instead of milk, and buys all his clothes from Hot Topic. #WakeUpSheeple

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- When I was 5 years old the Sabena pilot flying to Cotonou (Benin) let me into the cockpit. Those were pretty much my peak years.
- Come to think of it, back when I studied engineering in Angers I worked as layout designer for the student newspaper, which was just really fun and rewarding. My legacy includes unintentionally starting several memes that somehow ended up as timeless traditions.
- Went rock climbing with some friends near Royan in France, there's this place called "Le Pont du Diable" ("the devil's bridge", it literally looks like this really creepy, ghetto bridge that's cut off from land at high tide) that's full of crevices and mini-caves, and the waves are really impressive underneath so it was lots of fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach French, English, and with a bit of dusting off of old binders, advanced Maths and Physics. (I studied engineering before going into languages. Unfortunately turned out to be the opposite of my cup of tea.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My Netflix password? A bottle of French wine? Tara Gillespie's sweater?
More seriously I can help with any proofreading anyone might need done, that's typically the kind of thing I tend to be asked to help with and I'm glad to. I can also cook a few dishes and would be happy to help around with anything that needs done.
