Hi,

I am Matthieu, I'm a french chef of 32 years old. 👨‍🍳 I convert myself 3 years ago from engineering to cooking. After a year of apprenticeship in a small restaurant we won a Michelin star and I started to work there for a year and a half as chef de partie at meat, fish and sauces. Then I've decided to quit to experiment an other aspect of this work and starting to be chef in an seasonal restaurant on the french West Coast. That offers me the opportunity to divide my year in two half: one working hard and one dedicating for travelling as much as possible to taste the world. I've been pationated by cooking since my 14. Food is definitely my love language and my way to meet people. I'm considering it as a universal language.

This year I've decided to experiment a slow way of discovering the world which is cycling. My new adventure consist in pedaling from my hometown Nantes in France to Dakar in Senegal. The aim of this trip is definitely finding myself, collecting family recipes and cooking/learning for/from the people who are on my path.

I love any type of music always up for hear new type of music or new song. I'm really music lover. I rather like live music. I love when artists make one with their instrument. Love dancing as well ! 🕺💃
