Hi! I am an exchange student from the Netherlands, currently studying at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. This is my first time coming to the United States, and therefore I would like to explore and travel as much as possible.

I have had really cool experiences before when travelling in Europe, when spontaneously met amazing people staying in the same hostel or travelling with the same ferry or bus. To me, this is a great advantage compared to other styles of travelling. Therefore, I think Couchsurfing would be another great way to experience the places I visit in uniques ways, and meet new people. In addition, being an exchange student is pretty expensive, so that also partly brought me to Couchsurfing.

My favourite band of all time is the Tedeschi Trucks Band. I love blues and rock music, as well as other American based music like Jazz and bluegrass.
