About US,

We are a Dutch (Matthijs)/ Swedish (Eelke) couple with fluffy hair. In our travels we like to meet up with locals and find of the beaten tracks - non touristic places. We're mostly interested in visiting the beautiful nature of the places we visit. Though experiencing some culture and eating some local food in a city is certainly something we'd like to experience too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We like to surf and stay local. Not too touristic, just unexpected local experiences. Once Matthijs stayed in Helsinki and ended up helping to build his hosts bathroom. (This doesn't mean we'll rebuild your bathroom as well while surfing ;).

Since we're moving around a lot it is difficult to host travellers. But you're always welcome to contact us and see if we have a couch available. We try to keep our whereabouts up to date but might be slightly behind on where we live atm.

CS EXPERIENCE
Eelke is new to the official couchsurfing experience though she has stayed locally and hosted and met many travellers from around the world.
Matthijs surfed in several countries in Europe and has used surfing in many places during his hitchhiking trip in Japan and South Korea.
Hosted two British surfers when living in Holland.
Met many great CSers from around the world and exchanged many travel plans, ideas and tips with CSers online.
