Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Et je me couche, fier d'avoir vécu et souffert dans d'autres que moi-même.
ABOUT ME
What's there to say? I'm an open minded person always on the lookout for new experiences, pretty adventurous (some would say reckless) and always willing to learn from other people. All of my friends are older than me, don't know what that says about me. I love to backpack, especially somewhere in the Middle East and the Balkans. I'm also a cityhopper who enjoys short weekend breaks.
If you want to know more, go ahead don't hesitate to ask.
PHILOSOPHY
Et je me couche, fier d'avoir vécu et souffert dans d'autres que moi-même.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have couchsurfed in Paris, Istanbul and Tehran.
Centres d'intérêt
Cities: Paris! I visit Paris as often as I can, I love everything about that city and it feels like it's my hometown. Other cities I loved visiting are Sarajevo, London, Ljubljana and Moscow. Worst city I've been to must be Zagreb.
I try to go swimming once a week when my working schedule permits me to and I run 3 times a week. Finally, I waste too much time browsing the internet and visiting music blogs/forums.
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Music: Rameau's opera 'Castor et Pollux' never bores me. Besides Bach's Matthäus-Passion (basically the 9th world wonder), it's my favourite piece of classical music.
Literature: Houellebecq, Woolf, Capote, Camus, Ragde, Cunningham. I'm also a big fan of the Harry Potter books.
Popular music: Saint Kylie of Melbourne, Madonna, Bowie, Zazie, Mylène Farmer, The Knife, Tori Amos, Fever Ray, Dixie Chicks, The Killers and many more.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
*Walking around the old city of Jerusalem. It's just out of this world. I secretly prefer Tel Aviv or even Tzfat to Jerusalem but that's quite frankly blasphemy, so don't tell anyone.
*Boarded the train once from Istanbul to Tehran. It took me 4 days to get there; two Swiss people and me as the only Westerners on the entire train, we had a blast with the always kind Iranians. They taught me 100s of Iranian words which I instantly forgot, but shared their food and made the trip worth it. I'll never forget this amazing experience.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I'm a student rather than a teacher. I'm shit at telling stories (ask my nephews and nieces) but I'm a good listener.
