About Me

I'm a chill and open minded guy who likes to hang out with friends and I'm willing to meet people from all parts of this wide globe. I love different cultures and perspectives of the world.
Since I was a child travelling is one of my biggest passions due to my parents and their caravan therefore I decided to move abroad for a limited period asking for time off from my work and I went to Ireland for half a year.
Since I came back I feel homesick for the place which became my second home and my lifestyle there.
I mean having international friends with different cultures, languages and so on.
This is the main reason I'm joining this platform. I lived in total 7-8 years abroad between Spain, Poland and Ireland and I miss those times so much.
My new life started in January 2015.
Before I've been working 6 years straight for the same company in my hometown and I obviously got bored after ''a while'' and I wisely decided to quit in order to completely change my life.
I started working in a hostel in my hometown, Genoa, for 2 months and then I tried the same experience abroad with Workaway, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
It goes without saying it had been an amazing experience.
Afterwards I left Europe and I traveled through South East Asia for roughly 4 months and once back, hitchhiked from Denmark to Italy.
In the Philipphines I also volunteered as a teacher helping street kids with some basic maths and English.
Then I travelled eastward, towards Eastern Europe, for more or less 4 months, before coming back to Las Palmas for other 4 months. Thanks to this I skipped 2 European winters in a row.
I spent most of 2018 in Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre, running a BnB before coming back to Genoa.
Out of nowhere I spent my 2019 living and working in Warsaw, Poland before starting my 2020 travelling through South East Asia again.
After 3 months of backpacking and hitting the road again, in March 2020 I got stuck in Cambodia due to covid restrictions. I struggled to come back to Europe but eventually I made it, it took roughly 3 weeks to find a way to come back due to all travel restrictions.
Since then I'm back to Genoa, currently working and living in here, trying to find a compromise and balance in my life 🙃
