About Me

CURRENT MISSION (october 2017)

- experience Portugal again, this time for a longer while, working in south alentejo as volunteers manager in a farm involved with regenerative agriculture and holistic management.

ABOUT ME:

I enjoy travelling around, hitchiking every now and then, to see places, meet people and camp outdoor, allowing random and unexpected things to happen, tasting a bit more free and sustainable life.
I also like being involved with natural building and farming projects, at different and various levels of self-suffiency and off-grid living. I've volunteered in Wales, Spain, Italy and Australia so far.

I grew up in a village in north italy and, as far as i know, i feel i prefer to live in a better place than that: with a warmer climate and very much less pollution, with real natural landscapes and lots of people around practicing self-sufficiency in a sustainable way.
I want to travel and learn around the world a bit more until at some point and somewhere, i'll be up for living in a place for a longer while, maybe building my first own home (or renovate it), growing the food, taking care of the land and learn an artisan job according to my lifestyle and acquired skills.

PHILOSOPHY

respect people and nature

laugh about yourself and smile to everyone

Back in the years I was founder president of a local youth association in my italian village, organising music festivals, exhibitions of young artists, activities with kids and schools, ... I also used to do clownery and little juggling with a mate at kids birthday parties.

Music, Movies, and Books

i prefer live music, especially rock or folk bands with good guitar solos and drums... add brasses and violin to the recipe and i'll dance till morning. i'm getting better with a bit of electro music.

I like mostly those movies which leaves me something ... besides that everything is just fine to spend a nice evening

lately I'm just reading technical books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

sept 2017: volunteered at Hempen, organic hemp farming co-operative based in UK, harvesting commercial hemp by hand

may 2016 : worked my way by cooking and night-wacthing on a sailing boat (which i found in 3 hours), travelling from south-Portugal to Wales

dec 2014 - apr 2015: cycling and free camping through Morocco in a group of 5-10 people for two and a half months (and hitchiking with bicicles... ah ah ah!!!)

2013-2014: volunteering at natural building projects in Orgiva (Spain), Camarthen and Cardigan (Wales)
