About Me

ABOUT ME

World citizen with child's eyes.
Italian just arrived in London for a PhD. Soon to be a geographer.
I believe in people, equality, justice, I'm an atheist, a feminist. If there were a god in my life, that'd be the Nature. I love Nature more than anything.

I don't think I could live in the same place forever. Don't take me away the pleasure of packing, unpacking, missing a train, waking up early to get a plane, saying goodbye to a friend without knowing when we'll see each other again.
I'm sure when I settle down I'll become an organic farmer. Or a bush pilot, which isn't exactly settling down...

Interests

In case you reader are one of those people that like the comforting feeling of clustering things and linking being and doing, I am what I do: an institutional economist that focuses on the environment and on sustainability and on his way to become a geographer: yes, one of those that wear hats and explore things. Back home in Italy I grow my own vegetables and fruits, which is one of the most relaxing and satisfying things in the whole universe. I like organic farms, I like rural communities, I like good local food, I like cooking, eating and drinking.
I play violin and guitar, I like running, go skiing and snowboarding, I like free-climbing, alpinism, mountain biking, canoeing.
And, of course, I love travelling: there are many ways of doing it, I like "slow" ways of travelling, such as wwoofing and couchsurfing
