ABOUT ME

I'm currently a PhD student in International Relations.
I had been working for Ngos (and travelling extensively) in Africa and America Latina, and lived in Chile, Nicaragua, Mozambique and Ethiopia. Two years ago me and my girlfriend (now she has become my wife!) decided to come back to Italy, right in the middle of the crisis, in order to experience the amazing life of an exotic country...and we haven't escaped yet!
Love to travel and to meet new people,I am friendly and open minded, guess also honest and loyal.

Love to listen to music and go to gigs (I used to play the bass...when I was young!), I have collected more than 3.000 albums from different genres, mainly rock and psychedelic music (mostly 70ies, soul and funk, rocksteady and dub, afrobeat and traditional african music, italian composers, free jazz and modern symphonies. I also like theatre (but not musical pleaaaaaase!), going to exhibitions, visit new places and let me being amazed by every new vibe I can feel. Since I'm italian...I definitely love to have dinner together with friends, having a good glass of wine and enjoying a friendly chat until late.

-impossible to pick all the wonderful experiences during my travels: among others, community traditional rituals and celebrations in Ethiopia, the desert in Morocco, Danakali desert, the 4-days boat trip in Patagonia, the Uyuni salar desert in Bolivia, the World Social Forum in Caracas, the cocoa plantations in Nicaragua, the caribe sea, the malawi lake, the masai mara, Chiloe island, the 8.000 km done in Mozambique by buses and trucks, the Vespa journey across Italy, the train towards Iran...
-some amazing gigs: roger waters, the who, wayne shorter, marcus miller, radiohead, pearl jam in santiago del chile, manu chao in buenos aires, mercedes sosa in Managua, tinariwen, erik truffaz at the ronnie scott's, rage against the machine, and all the 6 times I've been to the Rototom Reggae Sunsplash
-each moment I spent with my wife
