Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Cormac McCarthy, Pablo Neruda, Andrew O'Hagan, Tom Wolfe, Isabel Allende, Michael Cunningham are some of my favourite authors.
Music: I love the deep and the tacky including Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Cold War Kids, Ryan Adams, Tegan and Sara, Shakira, The Killers, MGMT and more. Love salsa, reggaeton.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Oaxaca, Mexico with a family for a month which was incredible - my friends and I got stranded at the hot springs, we mingled with secret service agents, we hiked in the mountains and did ecotourism projects. I loved learning about the politics and culture there. Visiting Cuba was also amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach english and love to talk and learn about different cultures around the world. I enjoy cooking rich food - chorizo, haloumi cheese, carbonara pasta - and would love to make a meal for you.
