ABOUT ME

I am a recently divorced dad of one amazing boy, looking to (re)discover myself and meet new and interesting people and enrich my life and the lives of those around me.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now I tend to find myself living my life more for others than for myself. This is something I am working on changing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point I participate in life by working to pay the bills and keeping the economy(?) flowing. I wish to discover what my contribution to our existence is, while we all still exist.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed, but not in the way this site is designed to support. Does crashing regularly on friends couches after a night out in San Francisco count? I did open up my home to a group of Anarchist Protestors visiting for the RNC in Saint Paul in 2008. They were a great group of kids from Michigan, and all but one ended up getting arrested (all but the one we EXPECTED to get arrested!) We had some good conversations, and discovered they were Christian Anarchists, who knew such a thing existed.

I am in the process of rediscovering what I am really interested in. Some basics include movies, tv, music, computers, camping, hiking, art.

Last movie I watched: Into the Wild; Latest CD listened to: Mumford and Sons; Latest book:... not much of a reader, but plan to read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and watch the original Swedish film, prior to the David Fincher movie.
