Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I will be hiking and traveling around Europe for a bit before returning to NYC and finding a new job. Hoping to take a breather from the tech world, seek out live storytelling events (The Moth, Spark), climb some interesting Norwegian peaks (Trolltunga!), and meet some kind, eclectic, and creative people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I am a creative, relaxed, funny person with a general interest in exploring food, drink, music and culture. I don't drink alcohol much at all, but I love all kinds of cuisine.
I spent 2 years teaching English in Spain, after graduating college and receiving a US Fulbright grant. I had the opportunity to travel all over Europe, and I ended my time there by hiking the Camino de Santiago for 500 miles across Spain. I loved the whole experience, and I'm hoping to do another thru-hike soon.
In New York City, I've become a huge fan of The Moth, a live storytelling competition, where I like to usually just watch, but sometimes perform. I also play soccer in a social league here, and volunteer as a coordinator in a tech mentorship program.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is that Empire Strikes Back might be one of the greatest films ever made. Let's not talk about the prequels though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked the Camino de Santiago for 500 miles across Spain. It took me about 30 days, and I lost track of the number of blisters, but it was all worth it. Had an amazing experience, and met so many awesome people. I hope to do more hikes like that soon.
