ABOUT ME

I grew up in a barn and I still leave the door open.

I studied physics and earth sciences at an Ivy League school,
just long enough to decide I wanted to be an artist.

So I studied imaging technologies:
photography, animation, and live-action filmmaking,
at a tech school known for it's imaging arts.

While I studied art, I learned and started teaching Kung Fu.

After graduating, I freelanced and was a producer.
Then I got my first tattoo and became a Jedi.

Now I teach video at an arts college,
and I make art.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Live every breath.
2) What doesn't kill you makes you more awesome.
3) When life gives you lemons, make lemonchello.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to be a vagabond; I slept on friends couches and hung a hamock up in different spots for 4 months straight, now I have a home and some nice couches!

Why was I a vagabond? By choice. It is nice to be so self reliant and also have a minimal presence.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed friends couches for a while, only had one surfing experience from this website so far.

Interests

Art, martial arts, cooking, good beer, cheap wine, watching movies, COFFEE!!!

Also motorcycles, outdoor activities, running, being bad at karaoke, etc.
