I am a single, straight Canadian male, born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada (google it, you'll know why I need to travel and find interesting parts of the world). I have travelled (mostly solo) since I was 18 for many random personal, professional and volunteer purposes. My education and career background is farming, agriculture, and biotechnology and I work professionally in my province in these industries. Travel, fitness/nutrition, music, salsa/bachata/kizomba, automotives, and innovation are my other major interests.

CURRENT MISSION

As my career commitments follow agricultural cycles, typically I can only vacation during the winter months. I usually maximize my trip lengths to justify the costs of flights that distance. It's nice to leave Canadian winters too! Oh my god, they are bitter winters!

Travelling end of January 2019 to study guitar in Altea, Spain; then, I'll explore that area or travel south along the coast. Bachata festival in Cadiz, 8-10 February 2019 Recommendations for these areas are welcome!

I plan to visit Europe more frequently in the future (a couple times per year).

ABOUT ME

My career involves looking for value-added opportunities for agriculture commodities produced in my province. I review scientific research in the industry, help monitor natural threats to the industry (plant diseases and insect pests), provide technical details for policy, liaise between stakeholder groups, and act as an advisor to several boards of directors.

I have a part-time solo musician project, as well as (drone) photography. I can send you links if you want to check them out!
