About Me

American 🇺🇸 living in Krakow! World travelled. I chose Krakow to live because it is so walkable, safe, sane, clean, beautiful. I love this city! I am active, run, ski, bike, rock climb, and go out a lot for all sorts of things!

Everyone seems to describe themselves as “open minded” these days. Well, I am not “open minded” because I’m not going to believe everything that enters my brain.

If you are interested in staying with me, write something original, opinionated, and show me how different you are. I am not easily offended or moved!
I am quite bored of the "I am open and virtuous!" requests LOL. I am real and keeping it real is what matters! (And no I am not gay. There’s apps for that bro.) 🙏

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have traveled for most of my life. I'm a man of the world. I have so far been to around 50 countries and lived everywhere. I've learned or studied six languages. I've seen it all. The best and the worst.

I have met many people around the world through Couchsurfing and it is has proven to be the best social platform on the internet, even if it has been in shameful neglect in recent years.

I give preferential hosting to those who know how to cook or who love Drum&Bass music! 😅👩‍🍳🍽️👨🏻‍🍳

Interests

I'm not out to save the world, or bring world peace (at least not yet). "A man's got to know his limitations." -Clint Eastwood

Music, Movies, and Books

Blues is my favorite. Love Drum&Bass too. I tend to hate most movies. But there could be a good one if Hollywood wasn't such a basket case.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed over 18,000 feet (5860 meters) in Peru.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts I "do unto them as I would have done to me"---beers, drinks, food. But most don't give a crap about that on CS anymore because CS is less about travelers these days and more and more about young people trying to escape loneliness, social status, freeloading, hooking up, etc. and I'm also older now (been on CS since 2007) so it's understandable that i've "outgrown" the couchsurfer stage, so I probably don't offer much of anything of value to you LOL.
