About Me

CURRENT MISSION

helping against the plight of HIV in KwaZulu Natal, and seeing Africa along the way!

ABOUT ME

I'm an inquisitive guy looking to explore the world, have fun and see and experience as much as possible, but try do some good along the way. I've spent time living and working in South Africa, Greece, France and Austria, as well as the UK.

I'm almost lying down from how laid back I am and get on with anyone and everyone. Looking to meet and have fun with new people, wherever I am in the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted people when in the UK and had a great time, but now I'm in South Africa I'm not able to do this unfortunately. Am looking to meet up with new people to have a laugh.

On my travels here and there I will also be looking for a friendly place to stay from time to time. Looking forward to meeting some cool people wherever I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great guys stay with me when I was living in London, and it was fun to ingratiate them into my friends and go out and about with them. I remember one played in a full-on 11 a side game of football with my friends and scored a hatrick!

Interests

Well I like just going to see, experience and taste new places! I love eating (and cooking), drinking, going out, seeing live music, partying, seeing nature at work and photography.

Always open to trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been lucky enough to see some great things in my life and in fact the last year has been especially great for me.

In this time I travelled with my previous job (an international development NGO) to visit some rural communities which we worked with in India, experience their appreciation and really get immersed into a completely different culture from what I was used to.

With various different trips in between I have to say that what I am doing at the moment is one of the most rewarding things I have done. I'm currently working with children in a township in an area which is one of the worst affected by HIV in the world. Spending time with these guys is so fun and I really love that this is 'work'!
