About Me

CURRENT MISSION

living the dream as best i can, making positive and beneficial relationships everywhere i can

ABOUT ME

24yo dude from Long Island, done with school now i have the opportunity to satisfy my travel bug, which is severely undernourished as i barely have been outside the northeastern coast. I have a great desire to see much of S America, Europe, and the Middle East, but i'll stick to seeing a bunch of America before i cross any borders.

PHILOSOPHY

just trying to spread my ideas of happiness, positivity, peace, and an overall beneficial experience for all. i try to pull philosophies from a range of cultures, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, all have ideas we can learn

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy the idea of CS, as in my past house i had a constant stream of travelers and friends staying with us, so i can appreciate the company of a good crasher (i also had plenty of bad guests from time to time, which made for some annoying living situtions). I am very opposed to the hotel/motel deal to visit a place, see sights during the day, buy souvenirs, etc etc, be a lame ass tourist, so CS is very exciting to me as i can hang out with someone who is comfortable with the area, therefore making me at ease to create a very relaxed and enjoyable stay somewhere. I am always willing to compensate my "rent" wherever i stay, might that be washing dishes, taking out the garbage, etc, i'm extremely grateful for the people that let me stay and would be more than happy to help them in any way i can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had an ever rotating cast of hippies, drifters, and even a shaman at my previous house, most were incredible people that added such life to my living situation to help create a very positive atmosphere. I've also had my share of mooches, who let the water run way too long and suddenly made groceries disappear, so I assure you I stay far away from those qualities.

Interests

Positive people, positive vibes, bikes, photography/painting/sculpture/collage/drawing/anything created by hand and mind, rollerblading, great beers, shitty beers, agriculture, DIY, and just trying to live life peacefully and happily.
