About Me

I understand the attention span of most people is limited so i'll forgive you if you dont read every word on my profile.
UPDATE 1/1/2023!
After a very long absence I am back in the community. I left due to the monetization of CS and them putting profit before people. Now that I have returned to my home town of Sydney after 18 years, I decided to support and give it another go. Plus I can keep my finger on the pulse of the international travelling community.
I decided to keep the information from my 'Legacy' profile as it establishes my history of good character. Aside from being a little older and wiser, and in a different location, nothing much has changed.

CURRENT MISSION

1/1/23: I live in this beautiful city with so much nature but I do not give myself the gift of exploring enough. I'd like to host people so I get myself out exploring more and introducing them also. I would like to try snorkel or diving but I'm a little apprehensive of open water so maybe someone can encourage me to dive in the deep end. I also want to see more outside of Sydney, it's not always possible to do this with friends.
I have started acting courses and joined a casting agency with interest to find work in film or television. Maybe someone has experience with this? I also do singing lessons a little.

"“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WHOA WHAT A RIDE!

ABOUT ME
I retain a lot of trivial information about many things. I've watched a lot of films and documentaries, listened to a lot of music, smoked a lot of weed, partied on a lot of drugs. I dont take life too seriously but I like to know what serious things are going on in the world. Best be prepared.

I work part time, DJ on vinyl, work on custom motorcycles, learning to sing and act, love people watching as humans are such bizarre creatures, Dislike authority-we are the masters of our domain after all.

"You know, a person's life is made up of a zillion little experiences. Some, which have no meaning, are insignificant and you forget them. And some that stick with you for the rest of your natural life.
Now, what I am offering is so unusual, so outside norm, that I think it would be a pretty good guess that this will be one of those experiences that sticks.
Since you're gonna be stuck remembering Couchsurfing for the rest of your life, you gotta decide what that memory will be.
Are you gonna remember for the next forty years, give or take a decade, how you accepted to Couchsurf with me, or you did something else?" edited quote from Four Rooms, a lesser known Tarantino film.

I'm an Australian, born and bred in Sydney. In 2004 i decided to make the most of my British passport and get a one way ticket to London and see what happens. All these years later I'm still here!

I speak my mind, enjoy provocative conversation.

If i list films 1 by 1 it will never end so anything by Kubrick, Tarantino, Stone, Copolla, Besson, Rodriguez, Burton, Almodovar, Smith, Hughes, Jarmusch, Hitchcock, Jeunet & Caro, Lynch, Antonini, Fellini, Goddard, Mann, Haneke to name a few.
Some favourites are The Blues Brothers, Fast times at Ridgemont High, Pulp Fiction, Funny Games, Man Bites Dog, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Airplane!, Bullitt, Gone in 60 seconds (original), The Big Lebowski, 8 1/2, Ferris Buellers day off, Band a Parte, Ladri di Biciclette, Lawrence of Arabia, The Red Balloon.
MUSIC- Loud, aggressive, abrasive. I have seen live Mr Bungle, Faith No More, Fantomas, Soundgarden, The Ramones, Bjork, Metallica, Portishead, De La Soul, The Mars Volta, Kook Keith, Sex Pistols, KRS ONE, Hatebreed. Hardcore, Gabber, Industrial, Rock, Metal, Psy Trance and plenty of others. I listen to just about everything else except RnB.

Books? Libraries are book museums arent they? hmmm they make films for a reason. Most of the books i read are biographies or fact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born! How amazing is that?
I saw someone flick a cigarette onto the floor in a nightclub once and after it bounced it landed standing up as if someone had placed it there very carefully. I think thats something i will never see again in my life. If that happened in The Matrix, it would have caused a glitch and we would have all been sucked into a black hole. Thankfully i wasn't on acid at that time or it could have really happened! Or maybe too bad i wasn't as it would have been more fun than what was going on in the club.
Also, I got a last minute free ticket for the premiere of Django Unchained. Walking the red carpet with Tarantino, Jackson, Waltz and Foxx was quite an honor but the best part was watching the new Tarantino movie in the same cinema with Tarantino. Best start to a year EVER!.
