About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to meet interesting people from all over the world, and to show them some of the best places to go in the Bay Area.
ABOUT ME
I'm a high school science teacher in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. I'm originally from a small town (pop. 10,000) in Oregon, but I moved to California in 2007. I'm very laid back and easy to get along with. I really enjoy meeting new people and genuinely want to help others have a good experience while visiting the Bay Area. I'm a gay male, but not interested in meeting for dates or anything like that through CS.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Love traveling and hosting people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Joined CS in August 2012, when I was living down in San Diego. I really enjoyed showing people around the city (when I had the time to), and hearing about their hometowns.
Had my first surfing experience in San Jose with a great couple. Brian and Joe showed me a lot of interesting areas of San Jose, and took me to Google headquarters for lunch. I ended up moving to the Bay Area, so their knowledge of the area was a great resource!
Interests
I enjoy playing soccer, traveling (of course!), watching movies, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
