I am 27 years old and am from Northwest Indiana, close to Chicago. I grew up in that region and graduated from Purdue in 2013. Since then I've lived in Germany for a year and also lived in Lafayette, Indiana working for Caterpillar. I have since gone back to Purdue for a masters in electrical engineering. IN summer of 2017 I worked for Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, California. I'm in my last semester at Purdue and am looking forward to graduating!

I like to go out and try new things I've never done before. While I do need to have downtime and also enjoy binge watching movies and TV shows, for the most part I hate sitting around the house when I could be out and about experiencing something new. I am definitely a maker and enjoy creating anything and everything, doesn't matter the medium as long as I can be creative and bring something new into existence. I also like staying active and will play any sport for fun. I especially like racquetball and swimming. I play piano and guitar and like to sing (don't know if others like my singing though xD). Right now though my life has been taken over writing my thesis :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally signed up to find a place to stay for Firefly 2013 in Dover, Delaware. Since then I haven't used the site but I would like that to change because it is a great way to meet new and open minded people. At the moment I am active once again as I am taking a road trip from West Lafayette, IN to Seatle, WA to help a friend move!

Interests

Well like I said above I'm into electronics and such and also outdoorsy things. Playing the piano is also a passion of mine and I enjoy going for walks especially at night when things are quiet. I also like woodworking and have tried my hand at painting. I like to meditate and journal and go to live music events.
